Today, the Kardashian family donated $500,000 to the Red Cross, and Salvation Army to aid hurricane Harvey relief.

While other celebrities released statements expressing their concerns on social media.  Like Texas natives Beyonce and Miranda Lambert, along with Drake and Demi Lovato.

Beyonce told the Houston Chronicle in a statement, “My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help.”  Beyoncé continued to say that she was
working closely with her team at BeyGOOD as well as her pastor (Rudy Rasmus at St. John’s in downtown Houston) to implement a plan to help as many as they can.
