Crockpot Mac n Cheese

This past weekend I had a hankering for some mac n cheese! But, I did not want to stand over the stove to make it. It was a very lazy weekend for me. So, it was the perfect time to make my crockpot mac n cheese.

I love my crockpot and will take every opportunity I have to use it. Its great for lazy weekends, or if you just don't have time to watch a pot. You just set it and forget it!

This recipe is very simple. What I love most about it, is you literally just dump everything in the pot and then go about your business. During the couple of hours it took for the mac n cheese to cook, I was able to run to the store and also get some cleaning done around the house. 

This creamy mac n cheese is easy to prepare and makes the perfect side dish.

Ingredients:

8 ounces of elbow macaroni - cooked

1 1/2 cups of whole milk

1/4 cup OR 1/2 stick of butter - melted

2 eggs - beaten

4 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

4 ounces of cream cheese

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of pepper

Sprinkle of paprika

Sprinkle of Italian seasoning

Prep:

Cook you elbow macaroni per the box instructions. However, make sure you leave a little bite to the pasta as it will continue to cook in the crockpot. Also melt your butter and place to the side.

I used a fresh ball of mozzarella cheese, but feel free to buy it pre shredded. If you do use the fresh ball of mozzarella, grate it and place it to side  Be sure to melt the butter that is also needed and beat your eggs and place to the side as well. Lastly cut the cream cheese into small pieces.

***Pro Tip! Use a Crock Pot Liner, you can find these in the aisle that has the foil and saran wrap. Save time on clean up!

Directions:

Place the macaroni, milk, and melted butter in your crock pot and mix together. Then add the beaten eggs, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, cream cheese and all but 1 cup of the cheddar to the pot. Season this mixture with salt and pepper then mix.

Now top with the remaining cup of cheddar cheese and sprinkle some paprika and Italian seasoning on top

Turn your crockpot on to low and let cook for 3 hours and 15 minutes

This mac n cheese comes out so creamy and its super delicious. I could really just eat the entire pot by myself! You can thank me now for this deliciousness LOL!
